Bluzkat is a funky, bluesy cat who has an intense love for music.

BluzKat and his feline friends made it their mission to become inspirational characters to all children to promote jazz, blues and blue-eyed soul in a fun learning environment. Watch them go on many musical adventures to inspire and teach basic fundamentals of music to children.

The goal of BluzKat is to introduce every child to the world of music and to teach the value of music in their lives.  

By fulfilling this goal, all children acquire greater appreciation of how music enriches our lives.   

Year 2007 was an inspiration year at Bluzkat.  We are proud of the following accomplishments we have achieved:

"Summer of Soul" Auction ~ Summer 2007:

"Summer of Soul" Taylor Hicks Instruments Auction Ebay Projects Proceeds to Kid One Transport of Hoover, AL raising over $3,000 & to New Orleans Musicians Relief Fund (NOMRF) raising over $2,750.

"Whomp for New Orleans" Coloring and Activity Book ~ Fall 2007:

“Whomp For New Orleans” is a special coloring/activity book packed with unique and exciting pages for children of all ages designed to educate about the wonderful city of New Orleans and the city’s great musical history.  Proceeds of sales went to the New Orleans Musicians Relief Fund (NOMRF).  Special Holidays Pre-sales orders of the books were donated to Jake's Friends Christmas Project for kids of New Orleans.

We are currently working on the following book projects that we are excited about and look forward to their publication starting in the early fall of year 2008.

“Instruments with Soul”:

Starting with “Harmonica with Soul” is the first book in a series of 6. This series is dedicated to introducing each family of instruments to children ages 3-5.  Each book will have collaboration of a Musician who is known for playing the instrument and will include simple, yet fun instruction for children to learn and peak their interest in music. These books are wonderfully illustrated by our Artist: Sequoia Cougar. When we reach the end of the series, a collective CD will be recorded from the participating musicians involved in this wonderful project.

“It’s All About the Music”:

A series of 3 books introducing basic understanding of how to read music. This series is taught by Grandma Purrrle and includes wonderful graphics of BluzKat and his feline friends providing simplistic instruction. This series is level one for beginners.  

Whompin Pawz Productions, LLC strongly supports original music by various Artists and the music community; assists in protecting the integrity of the music; and provides a safe learning environment for children.

Whompin Pawz Productions, LLC is also committed in supporting children' charities and in raising awareness of schools music and arts programs.
